Coyotes captain Shane Doan will make a decision as to where he'll play this season by September 15, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reported Thursday night.

Doan became an unrestricted free agent on July 1. 

Despite all the speculation about where Shane Doan will continue his career, head coach Dave Tippett thinks the Coyotes, the only team Doan has ever played for, still have as good a shot as any at re-signing him, according to an NHL.com report on Wednesday.
